LIGHT HORSE
18th Annual Reunion
at LZ KING
in
Austell, GA.
After Action Report
This year's Reunion was a
resounding success.
Somewhat accurate head counts put attendance at anywhere from 120 to
130 Troopers and Family members.
All of the credit for the great time we had goes to Bill and Kim
(Sparky) King and the super effort and quick thinking they put forth
to make this gathering of Eagles so successful.
The Event began Friday afternoon.
Crappy weather was forecast on Saturday so the Hosts made arrangements
to move all the food, beer, soft drinks and other necessities to the
Hotel. The hotel staff was fairly helpful but did seize the opportunity
to capitalize on our "dire situation". For the first time in 15 years,
the reunion was held indoors.
We were especially pleased to have many of the guys who took the Unit
to Vietnam in 1967.
