Troops in Vietnam were not allowed to have US Dollars or
"Greenbacks" because the enemy could get them and use the
money on the world market to support their war effort.
The US government issued these "Military Payment
Certificates."
These are North Vietnamese bills. Probably from a cache
captured in Cambodia.
