This Photo was probably taken in the spring of 1968.
Note War Wagon patch designed by George Dyer. Note also Ace Cozallio's
influence, the Yellow Scarf.
Can you help with IDs ?
I'd like an After Action Report regarding this photo.

Bob Grove writes: 40
yrs is a long time, even for an old man that has an excellent
memory. I have been going through my old pictures trying to
find some dates and familiar faces. About the best I can come up
with was the area, Northwest of Me phu ta, that particular day is a
little fuzzy. We were scouting and ran across some people that
were getting paid. We did a pretty good job of KBA, and then sent
the Doughboy's in to clean up the mess, and they found that flag.
I cannot remember the Lt.'s name, the kneeling pilot was in the
slicks and I do not remember his name either.
One other thing I do remember is that I
saw a man running about 5 or 6 hundred yards away from the zone, and
appeared to run a little different than the normal vietamese, I
relocated and we KBA him. It turned out he was identified as Red
Chinese with documents.
Later on in the story, the Doughboy Lt.
tacked the flag to his wall. Well Ace decided one day that the
Warwagon's should take possession of the flag so we went into his room
and cut it of his wall, no further action was taken.
Sorry I couldn't help, WarWagon 15 , BOB
Grove
Another Photo taken earlier of the same flag.
