THE GRAND OLE HUEY     By Swashplate     From the sweating brow of America`s industrial might, A helicopter is designed, given birth, and built, in Vietnam to fight!     The UH-1 was built out of aluminium, magnesium, and steel. It would provide ARMY AVIATION with decades of use, no bending to enemy will!     Always improved and NEVER disaproved. It was a real great ship! When called upon, it never failed to do the role, not a slip!     Its uses were varied and many. It did it all. It was strong, reliable, and performed great in a mission call.     From being a weapons platform, troop carrier, cargo carrier and Medivac, It did it ALL, Thats a fact!     It`s crews, well trained and dedicated, maintained and flew her well. It could survive alot of the combat hell!     Its models A,B,C,D,H,ect, proved their worth and got the job done. Its use even after the Vietnam War, awards it had won.     Oil Companies, and Forestry work. Air Ambulances, it worked great, But, In search of better (and sometimes worse), soon forgotten, a bad fate!     As these NEW ships crash and burn, I think about this bird. I shake my head without saying a word.     Thinking, "You can`t improve on perfection!". Why not stick with a ship that WORKS!
