I was recently honored by having two
of my pieces put on permanent display in the veterans art
              gallery at the
John D. Dingell  VA Medical in Detroit.
I guess I'm not just another pretty face anymore, so I
              thought I'd share.
The painting " Niagara at Night" is in memory of my dear
friend Jimmy Heinzleman who was tragically taken by a
              stroke at 36 years young.
The collage "Vietnam Remembered" is a best in category
work from this years VA art competition.
The art therapist wanted it for the gallery because it is
              such a "strong, powerful piece".
Of course being unable to accept a compliment I said, "If
I'd realized that I would have used deodorant instead of
              rubber cement."
That got a blank look from her, but I know she loves me
              anyway.
