James (Harold) Feltner
Checks in.
I just re-discovered the new web site.
I haven't looked in for a long time and would like to say that it's a great improvement.

I sent info for the old site, signed the roster, etc. but, for whatever reason, I can't get my info up.
I can answer a lot of the questions that are unanswered on the site for the full year of 1968.
I have many pictures that I will scan and e-mail---only if they can get posted.

The ones I will send show the choppers when they returned at the end of mission condition----many bullet holes, crashes, etc. I have (if I remember the tail #'s correctly) Ace's, Winslett's, Tasker's 770 (with pictures of my friend "Dan Brophy"), Bryan's and West's.
My buddy, Fred Brester, shot on two different occasions (once in the mouth and later in the foot), flew much of the time with Bryan but was lucky to have not been with him when he was shot down.
I believe he was still there when you were.

I have "Longknife #26 (or what was left of it) which I believe was Sorensen's or Conrad's.
Can't remember everything.

My favorite gunship pilot and the one I flew with until the Cobras arrived was (totally nuts) Tony Ziemeckie. A wonderfully great guy.
Later in life he transferred to the Air Force and was flying a tanker over California in 1993 when it exploded.
In crazy stunts, many of us ranked him up there near Ace.
(He just knew he could roll a Cobra)
He, by the way got the first Cobra which was none other than #550. (The Goodship Lollipop)
It was the one with the eyeballs on the turret---I know because I put them there.

Why don't you have Dave Aaronson listed with some of the others.
Good pilot---I flew with him some as well. After the Cobras came, I grabbed rides wherever I could.

If you or anyone else wants this stuff to put on the site, just let me know.
I will scan and send with as much detail as I can remember.

By the way, I just found the link to Bruce Brogoitti's sister and will send her his pictures.
He, Brophy and I were close friends. Great guys.

Thanks,
