My name is Kurt Mueller, Call sign was Charliehorse 8B, Crew Chief
was Martinez.
During my time w/ the Unit down south and up north, I Flew
with Fred Blanchard, Ozie (Larry Osborne), Bob Barthelmess, Big Al (one
of the few who could roll a Corba 360 degrees (but lost 5000 feet in doing
so). Last assignment was maintenance officer (Hueys) from Dec 70
- May 71. In country May 70-May 71 w/ both C/3/17 and D/3/5

I have recently found a number of photos, (and 8MM movies) to include
our BBQ of the Mule Deer shot and then tenderized on the runway after falling
from the ammo bay doors of one of our Cobras
