War Story:
While on a medivac mission to pick up wounded personnel from an LZ, 936 was hit with an RPG in the right cabin section as the wounded were being loaded. The helicopter was able to take off but was unable to gain altitude. Fire broke out in the upper cabin section and the helicopter crashed in an open rice paddy. All four crew members and three passengers were wounded. from Johnny Hutcherson, gunner, September 1997
