Photographed in 1971.
The origin of this painting on black velvet depicting "Custer's Last Stand",
reportedly was Dong Tam, perhaps even Bear Cat.
A unique piece of "Light Horse" history, it may have adorned the the walls of clubs, bunkers and Trooper's rooms.
Today the original hangs on the wall next to my computer work area.
It's one of my favorite reminders.
