Leonard J "Jack" Boyett

On his 1st tour, Jack was assigned to the 221st Avn Co, Maint. Plt., Soc Trang, July 1967-July 1968.

During his 2nd tour, he was with C Trp, 3/17 Cav (Air) from Feb. 1971-Feb 1972.
I have photos of him standing in front of a motor pool and Orderly Room with "Light Horse", "Scavengers", and "Bastard Cav" painted on these buildings.
He also mentioned a CPT Oatman favorably.

Any information about my husband from you or another comrade who served with him during these times would be greatly appreciated.
He never talked about his tours in Vietnam.
It feels like I'm missing two years of his life.
I'm sorry to tell you that Jack died from Agent Orange-related lung damage on 9 Nov. 2005 at the age of 60.

Thank you for your service to our country.
