I was at Bear Cat from 7/67--10/68.

I flew TH-55's in school. Guess what I got to fly right off the bat in the Nam?
My platoon leader was a good guy. (Capt Jon Swanson, who on his second tour bit the big one)

I went to the Crusaders for the remainder of my time in the Cav.

I spent three months with the Jayhawks (Co B, 9th AVN)

From there I finally got to the place I extended for: The 120th AHC,
Saigon. (3rd platoon Gunships, "The Razorbacks".
