Newkirk Checks In My call sign was "Warwagon 14" while I served with D-Troop in 68/69. I started flying scouts as Ace Cozzalio's wingman in August and flew out ofBearcat and Dong Tam. In the second picture of Ace on the VHPA web page I am standing behind ACE next to the bunker. I am the handsome one wearing the yellow scarf. Ace gave me the scarf which his mother made. I lasted about 8 months in scouts before I came to the conclusion that 4 purple hearts was enough. I think I met you at one of the reunions. I hope to see you in Nashville.
