George Branigan's Photo Album

D 3/5 @ Quang Tri, Summer 1971

Taking off from Quang Tri summer of '71.
That is me in the back seat, ac #935.

D 3/5th Charliehorse AO circa mid 1971
Here is a picture of the Ba Long river valley. This is just south of Firebase Vandergrift.
We would work this area on our way to the Khe Sahn/Laos border.
Just north of this is where QL 9 turns to go to Khe Sahn.

Here is a pic of what’s left of one of our 58's. I flew in all of the ones we had, as most of us did.

Also is a pic of my scout scarf.

Yeah I know, I already have a pic of mine in my album,

BUT....I was asked for mine from the curator of the US Army Aviation Museum at Mother Rucker years ago, and of course I sent it  to them right away.

So they finally framed it and put it on display since they already have my last ship, 962.

If you feel like it should go into my album, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm hoping someday to take some of my Grand kids to see my ship and all the other aircraft and stuff.

962 Today on display at the US Army Aviation Museum, Fort Rucker, AL
