STARS AND STRIPES ARTICLE Charlie Horse - 26 On New Year's Eve 1971 Cpt. Noel Harvey and 1LT Neil Flynn was shot down SE of Khe Sanh. I remember the gunner and maybe the chief being killed in close combat on the ground afterwards. I was the gun lead on the rescue. Ultimately the Hoc Bao were inserted and the crew rescued.
